Argentina is once again the Copa América champion after defeating Colombia 1-0 on Monday.

This victory marks Argentina's 16th Copa América title, breaking a tie with Uruguay for the most titles in the tournament's history.

Winnig Moment

The first 90 minutes, plus four minutes of stoppage time, weren't enough to determine a winner, as the two teams entered extra time scoreless. The next 30 minutes saw two exhausted teams battling for the lead. Argentina finally broke the deadlock in the 111th minute with a goal from Lautaro Martínez, who scored his fifth goal of the tournament. It was a bittersweet victory for Argentina, as they played most of the match without Lionel Messi, their hero for the past two decades. Messi suffered an injury in the 64th minute and had to watch the rest of the game from the sideline.

Despite Messi's absence, Argentina managed to secure the win in what could be his final Copa América appearance.

After the win, fans praised Martínez and the Argentine team for pushing through exhaustion to claim their second consecutive Copa América title.
