Ivanka released a statement on social media in 2022 explaining her departure from politics: “I do not plan to be involved in politics,” she said on Instagram Stories. “While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena.”
Melania and Barron
Since 2005, Trump and his wife Melania have been wed. She hasn't participated in her husband's current presidential campaign either. A day after her son Barron's name surfaced on a list of Florida delegates, her office issued a statement in May stating that he would not be serving as a delegate because of "prior commitments." In response to a question regarding Ivanka and Melania during a recent interview with CBS, Eric stated that they "will be coming in." When Trump publicly receives the GOP nomination on Thursday night is one possibility.
