In addition to making history as the first American gymnast to win two individual all-around gold medals, Simone Biles sparkled as she stood atop the Olympic podium wearing a magnificent necklace that highlighted her GOAT status.
Jeweler Janet Heller created the necklace, a three-dimensional goat made of white gold covered with diamonds. Heller remarked, "It's really an incredible piece." "She is such a shining star, and we wanted the goat to shine from every angle."Simone Biles
Five weeks before the Olympics, Heller, the creator and CEO of Janet Heller Fine Jewelry in Calabasas, California, was approached by Biles and agreed to take on the project. "We worked through several iterations until we landed on the final design that she loved," Heller said.
The custom "GOAT" necklace, featuring 546 hand-set diamonds, took Heller's team five weeks to create. They added a surprise element by making the goat three-dimensional, encapsulating the essence of Biles' extraordinary career. Biles' reaction was one of amazement, as she texted, "Oh my God, it's 3D!"

After winning, Biles wore the necklace, and Heller was ecstatic to see her partner Jordan Chiles supporting her. Heller remarked, "We were honored that she wore it so proudly."
Heller said that working with Biles was a pleasure and that the gymnast was grateful and humble. Heller also made Biles, her mother, and Chiles a diamond-set Olympic rings necklace in addition to the GOAT necklace. Olympian Tara Davis-Woodhall in track and field and her husband, Hunter Woodhall, a paralympian, also commissioned pieces. Among these were a necklace with Olympic rings made of gold and diamonds for Davis-Woodhall, as well as a silhouette necklace for her.
There will never be another "GOAT" necklace, therefore Biles' design is genuinely one-of-a-kind even in spite of these creations.
